It is a typical KOA. The sites are Level but a bit narrow if you have neighbors & dusty because the wind blows in the afternoon. Water was pressure good. There is a nice fenced dog run however, all dirt. They will make & deliver pizza to your site for $10 if you wish. If in area, we'd stay here again although I think KOA's are a bit too expensive.

Terraced park & we were on the top level which had excellent view of Rapid City. Some road noise if you're close to the road (US16) but bearable, water pressure (and taste) not the best. Bathrooms closed for remodeling/updating. Very clean laundry room & rec room. Very friendly & helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.

I agree with the previous reviewer. Simple campground, level gravel sites, easy access in & out, walking distance to Wall Drug & downtown Wall, good cable, picnic table at each site & very friendly/helpful staff. By simple I mean, nothing elaborate but definitely adequate & would stay here again if in the area.

A typical KOA with very nice & helpful staff. There are spacious site with full hookups. The laundry room nice with new front loading machines. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Ok for an overnight stay. Easy access off I-57. Old park, old plumbing. Very muddy sites, however, I realize they can't help all the rain the midwest has been having. Good cable system for TV. We felt $25 for a 30 amp site was a bit high.

Good place to overnight & visit the Pioneer Auto Museum which is about all there is in the area. Easy access, sites are very close together & cement pads to park on but some are angled pretty steep so hard to get level with big rig. Good wi-fi & cable.

New owners as of two weeks ago & they are trying to clean it up. There has been a lot of rain in the area recently, so the sites are rather muddy. There is lots of grass behind our site. The Passport America park applies only during the week. On weekends it is full price. Many permanent sites here & the one next to us had barking dogs every time we made a move. We'd camp here again if in the area & hope the new owners have made improvements.

We were looking for a simple 'no amenities' park to spend the night, however, after three tries at finding a site where the electric worked, we asked for a refund and moved on. LOTS of trash laying around many campsites (big dumpster provided up by the convenience store but I guess people just left at their site and since it had been left there awhile, it was strewn all over. We were the only RV there at about 5 p.m., which wasn't a problem, however, another RV also came shortly after us & they also left. No problem getting refund.

Friendly staff! Our particular site was large but many sites badly need gravel to help with the mud when it rains. Rate is too much for what you get.

I'd rate this park higher as the office/laundry/restrooms, etc. are very clean, however, it's not paved & we had lots of rain while here for 2 nights & things were pretty muddy. Easy access on/off I-40 although there is construction at the off ramp it still wasn't a problem. Laundry room was very nice, however, no change machine & office doesn't open until 10 a.m. on weekends. Price is Passport America.

Paved, level sites next to Best Western Hotel. Easy on/off from I-40. Nothing special but fine for an overnight stop. Price includes free continental breakfast at the hotel.

For an overnight stay this park is fine. Very nice owner & family & as other reviews indicate, don't let the front appearance keep you from stopping. Hookups worked fine and wi-fi offered free. Within walking distance to a couple of restaurants if needed. Price is Passport price. Would definitely stay here again when passing through.

Spent two nights here as we have friends in the area and there's not many campgrounds to choose from. Quiet park, away from road noise during the night, but nothing special in the way of amenities for $30 a night and 30 amp. Registration office is up a hill to their private residence & then back down to park. If you have a big rig, it's a bit challenging but definitely doable.

Easy access to and from I-40. Friendly staff. Laundry room adequate. Definitely better than some overnight places we've been but wouldn't want to stay there for an extended period of time as sites aren't that wide. We thought a bit pricey for what it had to offer.

Definitely just a place to stop overnight & pull out early the next morning. No amenities at all but the price is right. Easy access off and on I-40. Airport nearby but no planes in or out after 9 p.m. so not a problem.

Definitely a one-night stay place. Somewhat confusing directions when exiting I-30 westbound. A big dirt parking lot with the last two rows seemingly reserved for one-night stays.

What a great find this park was after a long day of driving. Very quiet and serene. Beautiful scenery. Nice walking trails around the lake. Have definitely added this one to our 'must come back again when we have more time' list.

Have stayed here a couple of times before because it's convenient to route we're taking. I do see the park going downhill and the prices going up. We chose a 'premium' site because it's longer and we didn't have too unhook for one night. He gave us a discount for not needing the sewer ($38), however, the price is still way too high for what you get. Sprinkler head broke just outside our RV during the night so we had a big mud hole in the morning. Dumpsters full as well.

Very quiet park. Plenty of room for big rigs. The down side is 'no shade' so depending on the time of the year it could get pretty uncomfortable. Would definitely stay here again even though it's about 6 miles off I-20 it's still easy access to town.

Very very basic pull in for the night & pull out in the morning type place. No facilities at all except a convenience store across the road for coffee or ice. Airport nearby but last plane goes over about 9 p.m. Very convenient to I-40. As earlier review stated, the park is nothing to look at & the permanents that are there are pretty rundown but are no problem to overnight visitors. $10 rate is for Passport America, 50% discount.
